Common Bond Brewers and Leadership Montgomery are teaming-up for December's "Drink for a Cause" pub night to benefit Common Ground Montgomery’s Christmas Store.
Here’s how you can help:
On Wednesday, December 5, from 5-8 p.m. —
come to the taproom and enjoy Common Bond beer with friends, knowing that a percentage of all sales will go to Common Ground Montgomery’s Christmas Store;
bring a new toy or game with you that night (see “Donate Toys!” instructions midway down the page);
bring a gift card (Walmart or Target), prepaid Visa/MasterCard card, cash, check payable to Leadership Montgomery (with Memo Line: For Common Ground).
Can’t make it December 5? No problem. We’ll be collecting donations of toys and games only in the taproom through Friday, December 14.
Whether you come out December 5 or bring a toy or game to the taproom before December 14, know that your support will bring Christmas joy to families around Montgomery!
Common Ground Montgomery’s annual Christmas Store started in 2007 and has provided thousands of toys for youth in the Washington Park neighborhood. The Christmas Store is a week-long event in December that allows parents in their community to provide Christmas gifts for their children at affordable rates.
Leadership Montgomery is a non-profit organization that develops and engages diverse leaders to effect positive community transformation.
